Highlights
The Altair Partner Alliance effectively extends the HyperWorks Platform from more than 20 internally developed solutions to upwards of 60 applications with the addition of new partner software. With wide ranging application domains like NVH, Composites, Durability, Manufacturing, Materials and many more, the partner technologies strive to integrate with Altair HyperWorks to address customer specific use cases. Below is a short list of integrations and workflows involving APA products available with the HyperWorks 14.0 release:
• | 3-maticSTL: Lattice optimization results from OptiStruct can be brought in 3-maticSTL for further design refinement, and exported solver deck back to HyperMesh/OptiStruct for FE validation. |
• | AlphaCell: Provides material data to OptiStruct to design sound packages using porous materials. |
• | CADdoctor: Geometry cleaning & midsurface export to HyperMesh. |
• | CAEfatigue Vibration: Frequency based random response and fatigue solver that reads OptiStruct data and outputs H3D files with diagnostic results for post-processing in HyperView. |
• | Crash Cad Calculate: Imports beam sections coming from HyperBeam. |
• | Cross Section Editor: Extracts cross sections from a RADIOSS solver deck. |
• | DSHplus: The co-simulation interface between DSH+ and MotionSolve/MotionView is enhanced and supported for 64-bit versions. |
• | ESAComp: Bi-directional interface between HyperWorks Desktop (HyperMesh, HyperView using the Matrix browser) and ESAComp helps design composites for material and layup import during pre-processing and failure evaluation in post-processing. |
• | Insight+: Simulation results from OptiStruct and NVH Director can be analyzed and listened to with Insight+ along with test data for effective design and assessment of NVH. |
• | JMAG: JMAG Manager, which helps transfer EM losses from JMAG to AcuSolve as heat sources, is updated in AcuConsole to take as inputs the asci format results. |
- | HyperStudy connection to JMAG to perform Design of Experiments and Optimization is available. |
• | KTex Family: Composite modeling tools in HyperMesh for detailed modeling of woven composites, filament wound structures, and generating RADIOSS and OptiStruct material cards. |
• | LW Finder: Reads OptiStruct results and strain data from HyperView to identify best locations for strain gauge placement and minimization of measurement errors. |
• | Matereality: Master files from Matereality software can be imported to HyperMesh. |
• | MCQ-Chopped: Short fiber composites material characterization for OptiStruct and RADIOSS. |
• | nanoFluidX: Gear & powertrain oil splashing simulation using sph particles modeled in HyperMesh, inclusion of rigid body motion like movement of chains and gears from a multi-body simulation in MotionSolve. |
• | STRENGTH2000: HyperMesh generated solver deck that can be read in Strength2000. |
• | TAITherm: Export of H3D results for post-processing in HyperView & optimization in HyperStudy. |
