For v14.0, user experience was improved, so that you can approach additional analysis types, and expand on the ones already introduced. Specifically, new non-linear capabilities, new fatigue references, and load types were added. Additionally, there are several browser updates, which enhance the user experience by focusing on efficiency within the browser to cut down modeling and editing time.
Previous support on small displacement non-linear quasi static support has been expanded upon to include large displacement analysis. This includes incremental subcase control and the use of continual subcase so that you can reference and use previous solutions.
|
Non-Linear subcase references are now available under the fatigue subcase. Additionally, you can now specify time history (TABFAT) and up to 10 linear and non-linear subcase references in the browser. There is also the ability to import your own time history information in supported formats. |
Unit specific mass values are now displayed for each part and cumulatively for the entire model. |
You can now enable a mass (CONM2) and center of gravity (COG) for the independent node of Rigid Body and dependent node of Load Distribution Body. |
|
You can now edit rigid body, load distribution body, constraints, enforced displacement via a user input field for DOF 1-6. |
Boundary Conditions can now be dragged and dropped between different loadcases, if valid, and between loadsteps and common loads. |
