Highlights


Optimization entities are supported in the Entity Editor. The Optimization view is enhanced to support show/hide/isolate and cross reference features for optimization entities. Solver conversion from Abaqus to OptiStruct has been enhanced to support element wise convection and thermal analysis cards for powertrain applications. In this release most of the OptiStruct solver features in version 210 are supported in the  OptiStruct interface.

Constant and temperature dependent conductivity are now supported in conversion *CONDUCTIVITY converted to K in MAT4 and Temperature dependent conductivity converted to MATT4 with TABLEM card
*HEAT TRANSFER converted to ANALYSIS type HEAT and for nonlinear converted to ANALYSIS type NLHEAT
*INITIAL CONDITION, type=temperature converted to TEMP(INITIAL) and referenced in Global case control
*BOUNDRY (Temperature dof 11) converted to SPC with ambient temperature
Reference temperature in Abaqus (defined in *EXPANSION card under ZERO filed), mapped to TREF in MAT1
Gap parameters defined in *SURFACE INTERACTION converted to PCONTHT with TABLED1 referring to TCID for clearance vs conductivity curve or TPID for pressure vs conductivity curve
