hmtoggle_arrow1Support for DDM (2017)
Strain Energy and Residual Force Calculations are now parallelized for Static Analysis.
Fluid-Structure Interaction with OptiStruct-AcuSolve coupling.

hmtoggle_arrow1Host Information Printing for MPI Cluster (2017)

Host names on which MPI processes are run on the cluster are now printed to master .out file.

hmtoggle_arrow1Speedup for Modal FRF with Enforced Motion (2017)

The computational speed for Modal Frequency Response with Enforced motion using AMSES is improved with PARAM,AMSE4EFM,YES. This is turned off if viscous damping is present in the model.

hmtoggle_arrow1Toggle Warning Message for AMSES Singularity (2017)

The MSGLVL field on AMSES Bulk Data entry with 0 and 1 options are available to toggle warning message printing for models with singularity.

hmtoggle_arrow1AUTOSPC Degrees-of-Freedom (2017)

The limit on the number of AUTOSPC degrees-of-freedom for AMSES has been removed.

hmtoggle_arrow1DDM Support (14.0.230)
Direct Fluid-Structure interaction analysis (Acoustics).
Preloaded Modal FRF analysis using AMLS/AMSES.
Nonlinear transient analysis.
Elemental Results calculation (only center results are currently supported)
Usage in expensive Fatigue Optimization calculations to improve performance.

hmtoggle_arrow1MUMPS as Default Solver for Nonlinear Analysis (14.0.230)

MUMPS Solver shows the great stability and the performance and now default solver for nonlinear analysis.

hmtoggle_arrow1Domain Decomposition Method (DDM) is Available for Direct Frequency Response Analysis (14.0.210)

Domain Decomposition Method (DDM) is now supported for Direct Frequency Response Analysis for structural models. DDM for Fluid-Structure Interaction is not currently supported.

hmtoggle_arrow1Domain Decomposition Method (DDM) is Available for Normal Modes and Linear Buckling Analysis (14.0.210)

Domain Decomposition Method (DDM) for Normal Modes and Linear Buckling Analysis is now available for analysis and optimization.

hmtoggle_arrow1Domain Decomposition Method (DDM) is available for Preloaded Analysis (14.0.210)

Preloading is supported for Domain Decomposition method. Domain Decomposition Method is available for Preloaded Static, Preloaded Normal mode, Preloaded Buckling, and Preloaded Direct Frequency Response Analysis.

hmtoggle_arrow1The Maximum Model Size for Linear Static Analysis has been Increased (14.0.210)

The limit of 14 million nodes has been removed for Linear Static Analysis.

hmtoggle_arrow1The MUMPS Solver has been Upgraded to 64 bit (14.0.210)

64 bit MUMPS solver is now available and the limit of 1 Billion non-zero stiffness term has been removed. This enhancement is not applicable to the Domain Decomposition version of MUMPS.

hmtoggle_arrow1The MUMPS Solver is Now Supported for Load Decomposition Parallelization Method (LDM) (14.0.210)

The MUMPS Solver is now supported for Load Decomposition Method (LDM)

hmtoggle_arrow1The Solver Used for Residual Vector Calculation for Modal Dynamic Analysis can now be Selected (14.0.210)

The SOLVTYP entry can now be used to select a solver which will be used for the calculation of residual vectors in Modal Dynamic Analysis.
