Engine Keyword

/ANIM/VECT - Animation of Vectorial Data

Description

Generates animation files containing vectorial data for the specified variable.

Format

/ANIM/VECT/Restype

Data

Description

Restype

Name of the variable to be saved in animation file:

VEL - Velocities

DISP - Displacements

ACC - Accelerations

CONT - Contact forces

CONT2 - Tied interface forces

FINT - Internal forces

FEXT - External forces

FOPT - Forces and moments for rigid bodies, rigid walls and sections

PCONT - Contact pressure animation vector

VROT - Rotational velocities

IDROT=1 must also be set in /IOFLAG; otherwise, rotational degree of freedom (DOF) are not computed and this option is ignored.

DROT - Rotations

IDROT=1 must also be set in /IOFLAG; otherwise, rotational DOF are not computed and this option is ignored.

FVEL - Gas velocity vectors for fluid flow in Finite Volume Method monitored volume type /FVMBAG1 (or /FVMBAG) keywords (Comment 2)

FREAC - Reaction forces for imposed velocities, displacements, accelerations and boundary conditions.

MREAC - Reaction moments for imposed velocities, displacements, accelerations and boundary conditions.

CLUSTER - Visualize the moment for spotweld cluster.

Comments

1.If Restype =PCONT, two nodal vectors are output:

anim_vect_eq

Where, anim_vec_fn is the sum of normal contact forces applied to the node, anim_vect_ft is the sum of tangential contact forces applied to the node, and S is the extrapolated surface of segments connected to the node.

2.The nodal fluid velocity values displayed on internal surfaces are computed from the values of the Finite Volumes located on the opposite to the shell normal side.
