Description

SHAPEOPT

Integer = 1 or 2

Default = 1

Defines an optional parameter to select an alternative shape optimization algorithm. This algorithm can be selected when non-moving shapes are encountered in the optimization.

1 – Default algorithm for shape optimization.

2 – Selects the alternate algorithm for shape optimization.

If discrete design variables are present, it is recommended to use this parameter along with design optimization parameter, DDVOPT=2.
