CHKELSET

Positive Integer:

References the SET identification number of an element set that is included in the element quality check. All other elements in the model, except for the specified SET ID, are excluded from element quality testing (see checks 2 and 3 in the Element Quality Check). Element validity checks (check 1) are always conducted regardless of the value of CHKELSET.

Negative Integer:

References the SET identification number of an element set that is excluded from the element quality check. All other elements in the model, except for the specified SET ID, are included in the element quality testing. Element validity checks (check 1) are always conducted regardless of the value of CHKELSET.

PARAM, CHECKEL, YES is ignored when PARAM, CHKELSET is specified.

The ELEMQUAL bulk data entry may be used to control the values for warning and error limits for each quality check, but validity limits cannot be altered by the user.
