CONTFEL

<YES, NO, or AUTO>

Default = AUTO

Defaults:

1.The default is AUTO when the parameter is not present in the deck.
2.This parameter cannot be specified in the input deck without a value. OptiStruct will error out in this case.

If YES, Contact-friendly elements are activated.

If NO, Contact-friendly elements are not activated.

If AUTO, Contact-friendly elements are activated for second-order Solid or Gasket elements in Node-to-Surface (N2S) contact.

Note:

Contact friendly elements are not required for S2S contact.
