Parameter

Arguments

Values

Description

EXCEXB

TYPE

<GMOT, SMOT, GMOTR, or NO>

Defaults
If this parameter is included in the input file, but no value is provided, then the default value is GMOT.

This parameter controls the output of the AVL/EXCITE .exb file directly from OptiStruct.

If GMOT, the AVL/EXCITE .exb file is output with all inertial invariants. This is the same as type CON6 in earlier versions of OptiStruct.

If SMOT, the generation of the inertial invariants is turned OFF. The AVL EXCITE .exb file is output without the inertial invariants.

If GMOTR, the generation of second order inertial invariants is turned OFF. The AVL EXCITE .exb file is output without second order inertial invariants.

If NO, the AVL EXCITE interface output files are not output.

RECOV

<YES, NO>

Default = YES

If YES, then the recovery matrix is written to the .exb file.

If NO, then the recovery matrix is not written to the .exb file.

Note:

1.The .exb file contains the connection and interior GRID information, reduced mass, stiffness, and damping matrices, lumped mass matrix of the full system, eigenvalues and eigenvectors of the reduced system, recovery matrix for the interior point displacements, and the inertial invariants.
2.DISP = NONE is turned on by default, if PARAM, EXCEXB is used.
