Default = NO

YES can be used to restore the formulation used in version 11.0.240 and earlier for first-order shell elements (CQUAD4 and CTRIA3).

Note: In Release 12.0 the first order shell elements have been improved to:

•Eliminate inaccuracies in transverse shear and inter-laminar stress calculation that could occur for cases with membrane-bending coupling, especially composites.
•Improve robustness and stability of buckling formulation by changing the default order for plate buckling to first order.

The behavior of shells from earlier releases can be recovered using this parameter.
