SIMPACK

<0, 1, 2, 3, 4>

Default = 0

Requests generation of the SIMPACK .fbi file containing flexible body information for SIMPACK analysis.

PARAM,SIMPACK,1

Writes CMS Matrices [k] and [m] to the SIMPACK .fbi file.
Writes modes and eigenvectors of the SE to the SIMPACK .fbi file.

PARAM,SIMPACK,2

This option writes out all the information specified in PARAM, SIMPACK, 1 (above) and additionally writes model information to the SIMPACK .fbi file (Comment 2).

PARAM,SIMPACK,3

This option writes out all the information specified in PARAM, SIMPACK, 2 (above) to the SIMPACK .fbi file and additionally includes the following:
Writes the Interior point recovery GRID SET to the SIMPACK .fbi file (Comment 4).
Writes the Interior point recovery matrix to the to the SIMPACK .fbi file.

PARAM,SIMPACK,4

This option writes out all the information specified in PARAM, SIMPACK, 3 (above) to the SIMPACK .fbi file and additionally includes the following:
Writes rotational forces to the SIMPACK .fbi file.

Comments

1.Refer to the SIMPACK section of Coupling OptiStruct with Third Party Software in the User’s Guide for more information.
2.If PARAM, SIMPACK, 2 is specified in conjunction with the MODEL I/O Options Entry, only the model data specified in the MODEL entry is written to the SIMPACK .fbi file.
3.Units can be specified during the creation of the SIMPACK flex body .fbi file using DTI,UNITS.
4.A specific SET of grid points can be requested for output via the DISPLACEMENT I/O Options Entry for PARAM, SIMPACK, 3/4.
