AbaqusODB UpGrade is a HyperView tool, which upgrades ODB files created in Abaqus 6.2 (or earlier) to Abaqus 6.10. Since the HyperView AbaqusODB reader supports only Abaqus 6.10 files, you must upgrade files from older versions. If you have Abaqus 6.10 installed, you can also use the upgrade command in Abaqus to perform upgrades.
To use AbaqusODB UpGrade on PC:
| 1. | From the Start menu, select All Programs. |
| 2. | Select Altair HyperWorks 13.0. |
| 4. | Select AbaqusODB UpGrade. A file browser is displayed. |
| 5. | Select an ODB file and click Open. A file browser is displayed. |
| 6. | Note the name of the new ODB file and click Save. |
To use AbaqusODB UpGrade in Unix:
| • | In a Unix shell, execute the abaqus_odb_upgrade script from the altair/scripts directory as follows:
abaqus_odb_upgrade <old file> [new file] |
