To create partial sphere surface primitives

1.Select the Surfaces panel, sphere partial subpanel.
2.Click on the center collector and select a node from the graphics area.
3.Click on the R node collector and select a node from the graphics area.
4.Set the toggle to theta or phi to specify which axis is being defined.
•Click on the theta collector and select a node from the graphics area.

Or

•Click on the phi collector and select a node from the graphics area.
5.Enter the radius value.
6.Enter the theta begin value.
7.Enter the theta end value.
8.Enter the phi begin value.
9.Enter the phi end value.
10.Click create.
11.To undo, immediately click reject.
