This section provides an overview of the FIALA tire model, and also describes the calculation of the tire forces and moments that the tire exerts on the wheel as a result of the interaction with the road surface.  Tire inputs, outputs, and supported road models are also described.  The FIALA tire model is included in your Hyper Works installation as part of the MotionSolve automotive libraries.  It does not require licensing, it does not draw any GridWorks units, and it is automatically selected by supplying an appropriate FIALA property file.
