Use the Order Change panel to change element order. Use this function if you want to change a group of elements from second order elements to first order elements (or vice versa).
Subpanels and Inputs
The Order Change panel contains the following subpanels and command buttons:
Use the Change to 1st subpanel to change higher-order elements into first-order elements.

midside nodes at extract midpoint /
midside nodes projected to surfaces
|
Choose where you wish the mid-side nodes to be placed: at the midpoint of the element edge, or projected to surfaces associated with the elements.

use inferred surface if no geometry exists
|
When projecting mid-side nodes to a surface, use this option to ensure the projection even if there is no underlying geometry.
