Reorder Panel

Location:   Tool and Post pages - Organize menu bar

 

Use the Reorder panel to change the order of named entities in database. Changing this order affects the listing in the display and entity selection panels, and the order in which these entities are plotted.

 

Subpanels and Inputs

There are no subpanels on the Reorder panel. All inputs and command buttons are located on the main panel.

 

Panel Inputs

Action

(entity switch)

Use the switch to pick the type of entity to reorder, then use the entity selector to pick the entities that you wish to reorder.

sort by:

Choose whether to sort by the entity name or id.

Note:You cannot choose both.

If you choose neither, the selected entities are moved in the list, but maintain their order relative to each other.

move to:

Choose where the entities are positioned in the list: at the front or back.

 

Command Buttons

The following action buttons appear:

reorder

Change the order of the selected entities in accordance with the input settings.

return

Exit the panel.
