Use the Conversion tool to convert a RADIOSS file to an OptiStruct file.
1. | Load the RADIOSS user profile. |
2. | Import a RADIOSS model. |
3. | To run the Conversion macro, from the menu bar, click Tools > Convert > RADIOSS > To OptiStruct. The Conversion tab opens. |
4. | To start the conversion, click convert. |
5. | In the RadiossBlock to OptiStruct conversion tool dialog, click Yes to convert extended property and material cards to OptiStruct. For example PSHELLX, PSOLIDX, and MATXi. After the conversion, the OptiStruct user profile automatically loads. |
The conversion coverage for RADIOSS to OptiStruct is currently limited to the Elements, Properties and Materials described in the conversion mapping tables below.
