This section describes the HyperView/nSOFT interface.  HyperView allows you to write a partial FES file for fatigue analysis using nSOFT.  Both the ASCII and binary formats of the FES file are supported.

HyperView can use a fatigue configuration file, HVFatigue.cfg, to write out a partial FES file, or you can write the FES file from the Stress (t) or Strain (t) tensors directly.  A default fatigue configuration file is provided in the HyperView bin directory.  The provided file supports results from the  RADIOSS, Nastran, LS-Dyna and Abaqus solvers.  However, you can create a custom fatigue configuration file for any other solver and use it to write out a partial FES file.  See Fatigue Configuration File for details on how to create and use a custom partial FES file.
