hmtoggle_arrow1Updated CAD Version Support

The following CAD versions are newly supported

CATIA v5-6R2015 (R25)
Parasolid 27.0.172, for both import and export
PTC Creo 2.0 M140 and 3.0 M040
SolidWorks 2015 (2014 on MAC)
UG NX 10.0.  Support for NX 6.5, 7.0, 7.5 and 8.0 libraries has been removed from the native reader.  However, older NX files can still be imported using any of the supported libraries (9.0, 9.5 or 10.0), or via the third-party reader.

hmtoggle_arrow1CATIA Publications

CATIA publications can now be imported as HyperMesh regions.  The entities referenced by the publication are added as references to the region.

hmtoggle_arrow1Parasolid and NX Native Reader Robustness

Parasolid import and export, and NX import via the native reader, have been significantly improved via the use of native Parasolid libraries.  The third-party Parasolid import/export available in previous releases is no longer in use.

hmtoggle_arrow1New Inspire Reader

HyperMesh now supports reading .stmod files from Inspire 2014 and earlier.

hmtoggle_arrow1Metadata Support

Additional metadata is now supported during import for ACIS, CATIA, JT, NX, Parasolid, ProE, SolidWorks and STEP formats.  This metadata can be used for data transfer between CAD and CAE, as well as in process automation.

hmtoggle_arrow1CAD Export

CAD export has been enhanced for JT, Parasolid and STEP.

The version of the exported file can now be chosen.
Options for how the geometrical entities are named in the exported CAD file are now available.
JT now supports assemblies both in "per part" and "monolithic" modes.
The unit system is now more explicitly queried at export, to ensure proper selection by the user.
