Highlights

•Improved Mass and COG calculation that are now finely tuned to the LS-DYNA solver requirements. The enhancements are accessible in the Mass panel and in the Summary template.
•Modification for the pedestrian impact for LS-DYNA process template: the process template no longer deactivates velocities in *PART_INERTIA. Also it populates automatically the defaults for some of the contact parameters in *CONTACT_AUTOMATIC_SURFACE_TO_SURFACE.
•New LS-DYNA 971R8.0 user profile has been added.

•MAREA value in *SECTION_SHELL is recognized in mass calculation after converting a Nastran deck containing NSM in the PSHELL card.
•Fixed a problem with renaming of Curve in Entity Editor window that was not reflected in the Browser.
•Name maping now works correctly for curves and tables.
•Fixed an issue for scale factor for curves in *LOAD_SHELL_ELEMENT.
•Solved an issue with the Empty and Unused functionality that was not working for entities stored in an Include.
•Changed the export status for files imported as include. Now they will no longer be tagged as “do not export”.
•The name of the curve or a table in the browser is now always matching the title used in the *DEFINE_CURVE and *DEFINE_TABLE respectively.
•The parametrization of *DEFINE_CURVE is now possible also using *PARAMETER_EXPRESSION.
•The handling of .hmx files after import on Windows machine is now improved. HyperMesh will write the data in the My Documents folder unless initial stress/stain keywords are found in the model.
•Fixed a problem shown while creating Parameters on "id" fields within HM tabled data.
•Fixed a problem in reading decks with the *INCLUDE_TRANSFORM keyword found in nested INCLUDE (Include of Include).
•Fixed an issue in Database_cross_Section that produced an error while changing the set definition while selection was on XTAIL.
•Fixed crashes encountered when creating transformations in the Transformation Tool.
