Highlights
In HyperWorks 2017, the “Exodus-Sierra_SD” interface has been enhanced with new features, as listed below.
Enhancements
| • | I/O and the user interface is provided for Rigid RBAR and RROD and spring type of elements. |
| • | Definition of side set with 1D edge and 2D/3D faces is enhanced with the definition of distribution factors. |
| • | Selection of faces to define contact surf/side set honor display status. |
| • | Export of *.ex2 only or *.ex2 + *.inp is now possible. |
| • | Only imported or edited field attributes are exported for materials, contacts and solution controls. |
| • | Data models with multiple element types in a single component (Element Block) will no longer export element blocks with duplicate names into *.ex2 files. |
