hmtoggle_arrow1EDITFEKO - Scripting Model Editor

EDITFEKO extensions:

The LF card is extended to support series and parallel RLC loading. (2017)
The DI card is extended to support anisotropic media (3D). (2017)
The new CR card specifies the orientation of an anisotropic medium (3D) in a region. (2017)
The new SB card applies a magnetostatic bias field to an anisotropic medium (3D). (2017)
The AP card now supports the import of electric and/or magnetic near fields on all faces of a cuboid simultaneously from an *.efe/*.hfe file. (14.0.421)
The FM card now supports additional stabilisation to be activated for the MLFMM to address models with severe convergence problems. (14.0.420)
The CI card now supports the adding of a frequency dependent complex load by means of a 1 port Touchstone file. (14.0.420)
The IN card was extended to import I-DEAS universal format mesh files. (14.0.410)

Resolved EDITFEKO issues:

Resolved an issue that caused incorrect syntax highlighting when using extended ASCII characters such as "ü" and "ä" in the editor. (14.0.411)
Pressing Alt+2 for an edited file opened the Save file as dialog instead of simply saving the file. (14.0.410)
The Load position table on the LF card (complex load impedance for FEM) missed Start and End columns. (14.0.401)
The edge voltage source card (AE) maintains a list of labels. These were maintained incorrectly and could result in invalid card definitions. (14.0.401)
After saving a newly created model, the component launch buttons were unresponsive. The launch buttons now work as expected. (14.0.401)
Resolved an issue that could lead to an assert failing when launching POSTFEKO from a new blank tab. (14.0.401)

hmtoggle_arrow1Scripts and Plugins

Changes to the parameter sweep plugin include:

Improved the performance of the parameter sweep plugin for large data structures. (14.0.431)
The parameter sweep plugin now uses a tolerance of 1e-16. Older versions considered numerical values equal within a tolerance of 1e-10. (14.0.431)
Resolved an issue that could lead to an error message when using the parameter sweep plugin in conjunction with a model containing a FEM modal port with a FEM modal excitation. (14.0.411)
Fixed an error in the parameter sweep plugin where the combine phase failed due to results not having the same structure. (14.0.401)
The parameter sweep plugin failed to copy the files that a model depends on in cases where an absolute path was specified. This is now handled correctly. (14.0.401)

Extensions to the Optenni Lab plugin include:

Detect if the current model has already been matched using Optenni Lab. (14.0.420)
If the model already contains a matched network, the option is available to load the original unmatched base model. (14.0.420)

Other:

A script that updates the file associations to the currently running installation is available. (2017)
