Contact browser is now available to list, create and manage contact surfaces and pairs in HyperMesh. This browser can be accessed from the View > Contact browser menu. All components in the model, contact surfaces, and contact properties are listed in the browser. The table lists and creates the contact pairs or guides to the Auto Contact tool, and the Entity Editor shows the details of the entity picked in the browser or in the table. The browser, table and Entity Editor have many options that can be via the context sensitive menu. More information is available on online help about these options.

This release introduces the newer version of Auto contact tool. This tool creates surface to surface contact regions automatically using user inputs - proximity distance or shell thickness option and maximum reverse angle. This tool can be accessed via the context sensitive menu in the table area of the Contact browser.
