Modal stresses, strains, and displacements are now output to the H3D file for Frequency Response and Transient Analysis with MODAL option on respective output request.

The filename and path character limit on INCLUDE and ASSIGN entries has now been increased to 600 characters.

The command line options for the script are now output to the STAT file for a specific run.

Full length subcase label support is now available for PCH file output.

 

hmtoggle_arrow1Distance Tolerance is now Available to Manage Duplicate GRIDs

Distance tolerance is now available to manage duplicate GRID points. The SYSSETTING, DUPGRTOL entry can be used to specify a distance value. If GRID points with the same ID are closer than the specified distance, they are considered to be equivalent. If GRID points with the same ID are farther than the specified distance, then OptiStruct errors out.

The maximum number of temporary scratch directories that can be specified using the TMPDIR I/O Options entry has been increased from 5 to 20.

 

hmtoggle_arrow1Repeated Subcases can now be Defined for Output Handling

The REPCASE Subcase entry can be used in the subcase section to indicate the start of a repeated subcase definition. REPCASE allows the user to define multiple output requests of the same type (with possibly different options) for the same subcase. A repeated subcase (REPCASE) should only contain output requests.

SYSSETTING: A new setting, DUPGRTOL, is now available to control duplicate grids handling.
REPCASE: A new subcase information entry, REPCASE, is now available to created repeated subcases for output handling.
