FLEXH3D

<AUTO, YES, or NO>

Default = AUTO

This parameter controls the generation of flexh3d files for flexible bodies in an MBD analysis.

If AUTO, flexh3d files are generated only for those flexible bodies for which no previously generated flexh3d file exists.  Previously generated flexh3d files are checked for validity; if the file is valid for the corresponding flex-body definition, the run will continue using the existing flexh3d file. If the file is found to be invalid (has a different mass or the wrong number of grids), an error termination will occur.

If YES, flexh3d files are generated for all flexible bodies, overwriting existing files (if present).

If NO, flexh3d files are not generated. The run makes use of previously generated files. An error termination will occur if no such files exist.
