Launching the HX-Forge User Profile

From Windows

1.From the Windows Start menu select: All Programs > AltairHyperWorks > Manufacturing Solutions > Forging.

This selection loads the HX-Forge interface, which includes the power of HyperMesh customized for HX-Forge analyses.

 

From a HyperMesh User Profile

You can switch to the HX-Forge profile from any HyperMesh User Profile.

1.From the Preferences menu, select User Profiles.
2.From the User Profiles dialog that appears, in the Application field, select Manufacturing Solutions, and then select Forging and the sub-profile HX-Forge:

hx_forging_user_profile

The Utility menu automatically displays the HX-Forge template.
