If you select none, the animation is produced by rendering each frame in 3-D throughout the duration of the animation.
If you select simple, each frame in the animation is recorded as a bitmap during the first animation cycle. The bitmaps are then played back for the remainder of the animation. This is useful for increasing the animation speed of very large models, but can reduce the animation speed of small models.
If you select compressed, compressed bitmaps are used for the animation so that more frames can be held in memory, at the cost of some animation speed.
