1. | Open the Options panel. |
2. | Select the graphics subpanel. |
3. | Click the switch after view simplification: and select feature lines, bounding box, node cloud, or element centroid. |
• | If you select feature lines, the model is simplified to display only feature lines during view accelerations. |
• | If you select simplified shading, the model is drawn with shading only (for example no mesh lines, feature lines, etc.) during view accelerations. |
• | If you select bounding box, each component in the model is represented by a wireframe bounding box during view accelerations. |
• | If you select node cloud, the model is simplified to display the components as node clouds during animation. |
• | If you select element centroid, the model is simplified to display only the elements centroids during animation. |
• | Obviously, none removes any previously-chosen view simplification method. |
4. | Activate the simplify current comp check box if you want to simplify the current component along with the rest of the model during view accelerations. |
