Constrained Extra Node entities are used to define and store the keywords *CONSTRAINED_EXTRA_NODES_NODE and *CONSTRAINED_EXTRA _NODES_SET. Constrained Extra Nodes are organized and displayed in the ConstrainedExtraNodes folder within the Model browser.
Constrained Extra Nodes have a display state, on or off, which controls its display in the graphics area. The display state can be controlled using the icon next to the entity in the Model browser.
Constrained Extra Nodes have an active and export state. When the entity is active, its display state can be turned on or off and it is listed in the Model browser. If the entity is inactive, then its display state is turned off permanently and it is not listed in the Model browser.
The export state of a Constrained Extra Node entity controls whether or not that entity is exported when the custom export option is utilized. The all export option is not affected by the export state of a Constrained Extra Node. The active and export states of Constrained Extra Node entities can be controlled using the Entity State browser.
The data names associated with the Constrained Extra Node entity can be found in the data names section of the HyperMesh Reference Guide.
