Opti Control panel

Use the Opti Control panel to define control parameters for an optimization.

To activate the parameters:

•Check the box next to the parameter name and change the default values if necessary.

 

See DOPTPRM in the OptiStruct online help for more information.

 

Subpanels and Inputs

There are no subpanels on the Opti Control panel. All inputs and command buttons are located on the main panel.

The parameters are listed in columns on the panel.  To activate any given parameter, activate its checkbox.

MFD / SQP / DUAL

Choose between Method of Feasible Directions, Sequential Quadratic Programming, or DUAL.

 

Command Buttons

The following action buttons appear:

There are more parameters than will fit on one panel.  Click this button to advance to another page of parameters.

prev

There are more parameters than will fit on one panel.  Click this button to recede to a prior page of parameters.

card edit

Edit the control card.

return

Exit the panel.
