read curves panel

Location: Post page – xy plots panel

Use the Read Curves panel to read in an xy data set from an ASCII file. As a result, an xy curve is created that represents that data graphically.

Subpanels and Inputs

There are no subpanels in the Read Curves panel. All inputs and command buttons are located on the main panel.

Input	Action
plot =	Select the plot on which you want to display the new curve.
file:	Double click file = to open a file browser. Use it to select the file that contains the xy data.

The following action buttons appear:

Load the specified curve data and create a curve from it.

The initial plot, without any curves.

plots2

The same plot after a curve is read in.

Exit the panel.
