When exporting results from an advanced query to an HTML file, HyperView creates a separate H3D file for every red or blue cell in the last column of the table.
The H3D file depends on the query type:
Component |
H3D file consists of that particular component |
Element |
H3D file consists of the component to which the element belongs |
Node |
H3D file consists of one of the components to which the node belongs. Since a node can belong to "n" number of components, the first component found is exported. |
A hyperlink is created for every H3D file. These H3D files are located in a HyperView directory that is at the same level at which the report is saved. For example, if you save the report in c:\temp\fileName.html, HyperView creates a directory named fileName_H3DFiles, to which all H3D files are saved.
Unique filenames within the created directory are assigned. Filenames consist of component ID, loadcase ID, simulation step index, and the row number in the table. For example, PID_1016_1_13_3.h3D.
When you click on the hyperlinks in the table, the corresponding HTML file is loaded (with HyperView Player embedded) and the corresponding H3D file is loaded. The H3D file can be rotated and a measure showing the maximum value in that component is displayed.
You cannot animate these H3D files since only one simulation step is exported.
