Highlights

This release includes several usability improvements: Entity Editor is now available, allowing users to create and edit options for keywords with filtered selection. Pamcrash2G2012 is now supported.

•Create and edit options are now available for all keywords mapped to named HyperMesh entities, such as component, property, material, contact, rigid wall, control volume, load collectors, system collectors, vector collectors, sets and sensors.
•New Entity Selection browser is introduced to select existing entities in the current session with options to filter based on name, ID, card image and so on.
•Entity Selection browser is auto filtered to show entities of valid solver keywords for selection to create error free solver keywords. This is on by default.
•Show/hide/isolate/Xref functions are available for each referenced entity in the Entity Editor for quick graphics review.
•Provided tooltips for the attributes in the Entity Editor.

A new Pamcrash2G2012 user profile is now available. Pamcrash 2002-2008 templates are available in the installation and can be loaded; however they are no longer maintained.

I/O support is provided for SECURE PART, MATER, PLY and FUNCTION.

 
hmtoggle_arrow1Transformation Enhancements

Transformation are now automatically applied during the import and disapplied at export. I/O support is provided for NPOS.

•Importing a model with OTMCO without WEIGHT card defined caused the reader to crash.
•Reading of unsupported control cards caused the reader to crash. The unsupported control cards will now be skipped and a warning message will be reported.
•When a node is referred in an elements but not defined in the model, this node is skipped and an error is message is reported.
•Resolved I/O issues for the following keywords:
-CONLO
-CNTAC Type 36
-MATER Type 24, 25, 62, 116, 161, 214, 222, 225, 302, 304,
-MTOJNT
-PART of type SHELL
•Added .inc as a valid extension in the Import and Export tab.
