Optimization Keyword

/DRESP1 – Optimization Design Response

Description

Defines a response or a set of responses that are a result of a design analysis iteration. These responses can be used to drive the optimization process and are a measure of how a model performs under a set of constraints, boundary conditions and loading. They can be used as a design objective or as design constraints.

title

Title.

(Character, maximum 100 characters)

RTYPE

Response type for an optimization run.

(Integer > 0)

= 1: Mass

= 2: Fraction of mass

= 3: Volume

= 4: Fraction of design volume

= 5: Displacement

Attributes of a response where further definition is required (Comment 1).

Default = 0  (Integer > 0)

ATTB

Attributes of a response where further definition is required (Comment 1).

Default = 0  (Integer > 0)

ATTI

Identification number of a group of entities for which the response is defined.

(Integer > 0 or blank)

If PTYPE = 1: node group identifier

If PTYPE = 2: element group identifier

If PTYPE = 3: part group identifier

ATTJ

Additional definition of the entity type (only needed when PTYPE=2)
