Description

R2LRATIO

Real > 0.0

Default = 0.01

R2LRATIO is used to set the minimum radius-to-length ratio for Beam Cleaning procedure in the Second Phase of Lattice Optimization.

If LATPRM,CLEAN,YES:

R2LRATIO controls the maximum aspect ratio of tapered beams during the beam cleaning procedure in the second optimization stage in lattice optimization.

Any Lattice beam element with radius lower than the specified R2LRATIO value times the beam length will be cleaned/removed from the model. For example, if R2LRATIO=0.01, then any beam with radius lower than 0.01*beam length (1% of its length) is removed.

If LATPRM,CLEAN,NO:

R2LRATIO is not used.

Note:

1.If R2LRATIO is not specified in the input deck, then R2LRATIO is not used.
2.If R2LRATIO and MINRAD are both specified in the input deck, the max(R2LRATIO, MINRAD) value is used for beam cleaning.
3.If R2LRATIO is specified in the input deck without any value, then its default value is 0.01.
