LOCATE – Subcase-specific Geometric Relocation of Parts in the Model

Description

The LOCATE entry can be used in the Subcase information section to select subcase-specific location (geometric position) of each part in the model.

Identification number of LOCATE Bulk Data Entries that define the relocation of each part within the model.

1.	The LOCATE entry should only be defined within a subcase and cannot be specified above the first subcase.

2.	If the LOCATE subcase entry is utilized within a single subcase, then all subcases in the model should have LOCATE entries referring to their corresponding LOCATE bulk data entries.

3.	LOCATE entries are only supported in Linear Static subcases.

4.	The LOCATE entry can be used in conjunction with the SUBMODEL entry.
