Nodal time step /DT/NODA is used with Engine keyword:
• | Apply to whole model /DT/NODA |
• | Apply to specific group of nodes: /DT/NODA/1 |
grnd_ID
Time step control is obtained with keywords:
/DT/NODA/STOP | if time step reaches , the computation will stop. |
/DT/NODA/CST | if time step reaches , mass is added to the node so that the time step remains constant at . |
/DT/NODA is not needed if /DT/NODA/STOP or /DT/NODA/CST is present.
A time step control on an interface kinematic time step can be applied in the case of nodal time step. These conditions can be applied, in addition to nodal time step control:
/DT/INTER/DEL
With this option, if kinematic interface time step becomes smaller than , the concerned impacted node is deleted from the interface.
