Description

FASTFR

<AUTO, YES, or NO>

Defaults:

1.If the parameter is not present in the model, the default is NO.
2.If the parameter is present in the model with no values specified, the run will terminate with an error.

If YES/AUTO, the faster modal solution method is automatically selected for Modal Frequency Response Analysis. If this faster method cannot be used, the standard method is selected.

If NO, the faster method is not selected and the model is run using the standard solution method.

For further information, refer to FASTFR in the User's Guide.

Note:

If PARAM, FASTFR,YES is specified in a Modal FRF model which does not support FASTFR, then the model is automatically switched to the standard method and a WARNING is printed in the OUT file.
