Parameter

Values

Description

WRH

<Real>

Default = 0.0

This parameter is used to include or exclude frequency dependent hybrid damping in rotor dynamics analysis.

PARAM, WRH, <Real>

For Complex Eigenvalue Analysis:

If any Real value other than 0.0 (default) is specified, then it is included in the rotor dynamics equation as the equivalent “average” excitation frequency. This allows for the inclusion of the frequency-dependent hybrid damping terms to be included in the analysis.

For Frequency Response Rotor Dynamics Analysis:

If any Real value other than 0.0 (default) is specified, then it is included in the rotor dynamics equation as the equivalent “average” excitation frequency. PARAM, WRH, <Real> should be specified to bypass frequency-dependent looping, if PARAM, GYROAVG is set to -1. If this parameter is not specified and PARAM, GYROAVG is set to -1, then frequency-dependent hybrid damping terms are not included in the analysis.

PARAM, WRH, 0.0

If 0.0 is specified, then frequency-dependent hybrid damping terms are not included in rotor dynamics analysis.

Note

If PARAM,WRH and PARAM,GYROAVG are not specified, then frequency-dependent damping values specified on the HYBDAMP Bulk Data Entry (referenced on HYBRID field of RSPINR entry) are used.
