Comments

1.A surface is a set of 3-node or 4-node segments. It can be defined:
explicitly, with segment connectivity
by box
by subsets or parts (all 3-node and 4-node shells belonging to these entities are used to define the surface)
by submodels (all 3-node and 4-node shells belonging to parts in the listed submodels are used to define the surface)
by properties or materials (all 3-node and 4-node shells belonging to these entities are used to define the surface)
by shell groups
with other surfaces
2.All nodes must belong to a shell element, a brick element or a triangular shell element.
3.A surface cannot be defined using Madymo surfaces.
