1. | All surface segments must belong to 2D elements (shell element or a triangular shell element). 1D elements are ignored in /SURF/SUBMODEL. With 3D elements, an additional keyword must be specified: see /SURF/SUBMODEL/EXT and /SURF/SUBMODEL/ALL |
2. | A surface cannot be defined using Madymo surfaces. |
3. | A surface cannot be defined by associating a hyper-ellipsoid and another type of surface. |
4. | If item_ID is negative, the surface normals are inverted. |
