To Launch HW Inventory from the Window Prompt

1.Start the window prompt.
2.Type

C:\Altair\hw13.0\hw\tcl\tcl8.5.6\bin\tclsh85.exe "C:\Altair\hw13.0\hw\tcl\hw\hwinventory\hw_inventory.tcl"

These commands will generate a report of the entire installation directory by default.  By default, the report is created in the following directory:

C:\Documents and Settings\userid\ for Windows XP and Windows 2000.
