|
HW inventory is a tool that scans the HyperWorks installation directory and records the size (in kilobytes), version, and the compiled date of each file located under the directory and then generates a report file named hw_inventory_searchdate_build.dat. You have the option to scan the entire installation directory as well as a specific directory. The report can be generated in any designated directory with the appropriate permission settings.
You can launch HW Inventory in Windows from the Start menu or from the window prompt.
