The Rot Properties tab on the Forces panel allows you to define the components of a force with respect to a reference coordinate system. Action and direction options can be set in both the Connectivity and Translational/Rotational panels.
Forces panel - Rot Properties tab
Translational, rotational, and transrotational forces each require a reference coordinate system. This can be defined from the Connectivity tab.

Tx, Ty, Tz Linear |
constant rotational force. |
Tx, Ty, Tz Curve |
rotational force expressed in the form of a torque vs. displacement curve which is a function of a set of independent variables. |
Tx, Ty, Tz Spline3D |
select AKIMA, CUBIC, LINEAR, or QUINTIC under Interpolation and specify an expression each under Independent variable X and Independent variable Z. Resolve the 3D spline by clicking on the Spline3D collector and selecting a Spline3D entity from the Select a Spline3D dialog. |
Tx, Ty, Tz Expression |
rotational force expressed in the form of a solver function. |
Non-linear force properties may be defined using curves or expressions.
