Use:

To:

Define motion on joint

Select the joint to which the motion is applied.

Displacement, Velocity,
Acceleration Properties
drop-down menu

Select an option from the drop-down menu.

A displacement requires no initial conditions, a velocity requires an initial displacement, and an acceleration requires an initial displacement and an initial velocity.

Use:

To:

Define motion using markers

Define the motion using markers.

Along X, Y, Z axis of Marker 2

Select the axis along which you want to define the translational motion.

About X, Y, Z axis of Marker 2

Select the axis about which you want to define the rotational motion.

Displacement, Velocity,
Acceleration Properties

Select an option from the drop-down menu.

A displacement requires no initial conditions, a velocity requires an initial displacement, and an acceleration requires an initial displacement and an initial velocity.

Marker 1 and Marker 2

Select the first and second markers to which to the motion is applied.
