There are many advantages to the way connectors store information. Not only does this local storage allow you to edit the connector definition, it also allows you to review connector details and the quality of the realization. There are a number of tools that can be useful in the review process. The connector visualization controls allow you to update the visual appearance of a connector based on its state, thickness (number of layers), style (connector types), or the component in which it is located. In addition, the visualization controls also allow you to filter the displayed connectors by various criteria (such as thickness). This filter can then be used store the "displayed" connectors for use in other functions.
Engineering Solutions also includes a Connector browser that contains a list of all connectors and their definitions, as well as a list of connector links. The Quality panel allows you to check the quality of welds created from the connectors. The connector database can also be queried through Tcl functions.
