/DESOBJ – Optimization Objective

Description

This keyword can be used to select a response as the objective function of an optimization run by selecting a response as the objective function. The selected response can either be minimized or maximized based on the inputs specified on this keyword.

resp_ID	Optimization response identifier defined on /DRESP1 card. This field is used to select a response as the objective of an optimization run. No default (Integer > 0)

1.	Only one objective can be defined for an optimization run. Therefore, multiple /DESOBJ entries are not allowed in a single solver deck.

2.	This entry is represented as an optimization objective in HyperMesh and HyperCrash.
