Non-structural material damping set identification number.

No default (Integer > 0)

TYPE

This can be one of the properties PSHELL, PCOMP, PBAR, PBARL, PBEAM, PBEAML, PROD, CONROD, PSHEAR, PTUBE, or ELSET, in which case the list of IDs will refer to properties of the stated type, or it can be ELEMENT, in which case the list is of individual element IDs of elements with the specified non-structural material damping.

When set to PSOLID, fluid elements are currently not supported.

No default (PSOLID, PSHELL, PCOMP, PBAR, PBARL, PBEAM, PBEAML, PROD, CONROD, PSHEAR, PTUBE, ELEMENT, or ELSET).

ID

Property, Element ID, or Element Set ID depending on the TYPE definition.

VALUE

Non-structural material damping value.

No default (Real)

Comments

1.Non-structural material damping in this format must be selected by the NSGE Subcase Information selector.
2.Optimization is currently not supported for non-structural damping.
