The Preload/Freelength tab allows you to provide initial forces or free lengths along the six primary directions of the field connection.

Preload

Fx, Fy, Fz are the preload values in the translational direction.

Tx, Ty, Tz are the preload values in the rotational direction.

Freelength

Lx, Ly, Lz are the freelength values in the translational direction.

Lrx, Lry, Lrz are the freelength values in the rotational direction.

Edit

Activating the appropriate checkbox allows you to make edits to either the preload or the freelength values.

Clicking this button allows you to define an MDL expression for any one of the values.
