select the spring type, either coil or torsion.

Body 1

select the first body to which the spring damper is attached.

Body 2

select the second body to which the spring damper is attached.

Point1

select the point on the first body to which the spring damper is attached.

Point2

select the point on the second body to which the spring damper is attached.

Measure between
points

shows the distance between point 1 and point 2.

User- defined
properties

this option can be used to specify the spring-damper force using a user subroutine.  Checking this option will activate the User-Defined tab and hide the Properties and Preload tabs.
